I think that A&H mixers do have the best sound. The box didn't have the extra knobs that it was supposed to come with.ĭon't get me wrong.the sound is warm.and amazing. The EQ knobs seems very small and tiny.ĩ. When I returned the mixer, the guy at the store was using a 42 the night before and managed to almost rip off his nail while pressing the button.Ĩ. It was difficult for me to press the buttons on and off. They have a plastic ring around the button that lights up. The cue and filter buttons on each channel are difficult to press. So you can only hook up a turntable to channel 1 and 4. The other two channels only allow for line. Only two of the channels allow for both phono and line. I thought that the vu lights would light up better.they kinda just flicker.Ħ. The headphone jack was really close to the headphone volume and cue mix dial. I don't have an effects module.so those knobs were wasted for me.Ĥ. The mixer allows for send and return for an effects module to be hook up. Sometimes when using the cross fader filter.the music would go to absolute silence!ģ. It didn't seem to work as well as using the rotary dial. You can apply the VCF filters to activated to the cross fader. The cross fader brand new out of the box had static when moving it back and forth. I hooked it up to my Dynacord speakers.ġ. Mixed In Key has released Xone Mixed In Key 5, the latest version of its harmonic-mixing software, which they tell us offers new features and functions including multi-core support, on-screen audio player, multiple-key recognition and a powerful new key-detection algorithm.
So that if I want to mix out from A Flat Minor (or 01A on the Camelot Wheel), I click on the '01A' Auto Playlist, which lists all my tracks that a harmonically compatible with A Flat Minor, and so on.
XONE MIXED IN KEY 4 PRO
To help me with this I have created a series of Auto Playlists in MediaMonkey. Will Mixed In key analyze songs from Spotify and Soundcloud in DJay Pro and Rekordbox And which Mixed In Key would you recommend. I hope these bugs a fixed soon, as a DJ I am rather impressed by the features of this program. It writes the BPM to the BPM tag and Key to the Grouping tag. Maybe some donations to it's creator might help him sort it out. Mixshare is an excellent DJing tool, unfortunately it is a little buggy with large collections. It also writes the key to an 'Initialkey' tag, which I have only been able to view in Traktor. It will write the Key & BPM to the Comments tag, or you can have it added to the file name. Press and hold the sync button on the controller for three seconds. MIK has a very simple interface and is very limited in it's options. Press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the controller until it lights up.
